Charles Shoesmith

Charles is a Chartered Psychologist who has many years' international experience consulting in the area of individual and organisational behaviour and learning. He has particular expertise in the design and development of innovative and effective solutions to complex organisational and people performance issues. He has consulted across a wide variety of business sectors addressing issues such as productivity, health and safety, quality, productivity and customer service. He is an extremely effective presenter and trainer, applying his background in learning and educational theory to tailor courses to meet specific needs.

Business Development Adviser

Trevor Cooper

Trevor has behind him a long service in the oil industry with, in particular, experience in the manufacture and distribution of lubricants. Within this experience are specific skills in the management of people through change, their development through major health, safety and quailty workplace initiatives and with respect to the latter a time-served practical approach to their application.

PsychaLogica Consultants

David Petty

An experienced consultant specialising in helping companies achieve their goals by improving the effectiveness of the human system through behaviour change. Previously an HR Manager, he trained as a counsellor/ change facilitator and then specialised in executive coaching in the context of major organisational change programmes. Consultancy assignments include work with senior management in private and public sector businesses helping improve individual and group effectiveness through individual coaching and team facilitation. Other projects have included implementing performance improvement processes in retailing, financial services and large call-centre operations. Dave now specialises in the area of behavioural safety and has experience in a wide variety of sectors including oil and gas and chemicals both in the UK and internationally. Dave is completing the final stages of an MA in individual and group Gestalt Psychotherapy.

David Mason

David is a Chartered Safety Practitioner who has spent the majority of his career in the UK nuclear industry. This has involved him working on a variety of sites in a number of roles, including operations, design, construction, engineering, research and development. He has a proven track record of designing and delivering safety solutions and initiatives that have won national safety awards. These have included behavioural safety workshops, national conferences, organisational learning processes, health and safety training, culture improvement workshops and safety management systems. David has an excellent understanding of the challenges involved with managing health and safety and matches this with a dynamic approach to his work.

Jon Gillon

Jon has worked in the oil and gas industry for twenty-eight years, twenty-five of these with BP. During this time he has worked in many areas around the world including Alaska, West Africa, Texas and Algeria. He developed a reputation as a strong leader in health and safety, which lead to him being called upon to help assets whose health and safety performance was less than satisfactory. Jon’s last role with BP was as the Operations Manager for the largest onshore oilfield in Western Europe. Since leaving BP he has followed is passion and continues to help and advise companies on health and safety matters.

Robin McIntosh

Robin is a highly experienced trainer and workshop facilitator who through training and experience has acquired a wide range of skills relating to all aspects of people development and teambuilding. Although much of her experience recently has been in the field of safety, she has undertaken projects relating to a wide variety of business improvement issues. These various activities mean that she has had exposure at all levels of business activity, from top-team through to the front-line workforce.
